Facilitator

Maria Béarre-Bóynne is an English and performing arts instructor at Roseland University Prep. She has a passion for exploring the development of voice, storytelling, poetry as vehicles for self-expression, healing, and social justice.


Panelists

Henryetta R. Felton ( Selajah’s parent) Is a mother and wife residing in Windsor ca. She is also a site council member for Brooks Elementary.

Selajah Monae Scott ( Henryetta’s daughter ) is 11 years old and attends Brooks Elementary in Windsor.

Kelly Lister is a mom of two young children and a resident of Windsor, where she grew up. For close to twenty years, Kelly has held teaching and leadership roles in Rincon Valley from Kindergarten through middle school. This year, Kelly is supporting students with reading, students and families who are struggling with distance learning, and students who are English Learners. She is also homeschooling her daughter, training a new puppy, and learning Spanish.

Rachel Lumberg ( Remy’s parent) I work as a Behavior Specialist for the past 20 years in public education. I am a parent of a High School student who attended RVUSD. I am big supporter of the Black Lives Matter movement and I am fierce advocate of Racial Equality.

Remy Lumberg Rachel’s son)is a very articulate and caring high school student who is interested and knowledgeable about issues like identity and race. He has some strong feelings about the BLM movement.

Jeremiah Price is a Moderate/Severe Special Education Preschool Teacher. He has worked with individuals with disabilities for 25 years ranging in age from early childhood through adulthood. In addition to his teaching credentials, Jeremiah holds a BA in Sociology and an MA/MFA in Writing in Consciousness.

Charlotte Keane ( Robyn’s Parent)


Robyn Parianos (they/them Charlotte’s daughter) is a junior at Santa Rosa High School. They are passionate about participating in LGBTQ+ community and enjoy conversation around transgender issues. Robyn enjoys skateboarding and theater.
