Conversations in Common centers its work each semester around a common book for elementary grades and secondary grades. These texts help to ground the conversations teachers have with their classes and provide opportunities to discuss larger themes related to the ideas in the book. Using one core book also allows families and community members to stay engaged with the project by reading the book at home. On the following pages, for each book, you will find a summary of the story as well as audio files and other text resources designed for parents.
